Arnett, Judith P. "Judy"
73, of Quaker Heights Nursing Home, Waynesville, passed away Sunday February 22nd, 2015. She was born June 6, 1941 in Wilmington, Ohio to Marguerite (Austin) and Frank Brainard Pond, Jr. Judy worked 31 years for Beavercreek Schools. She was very passionate about teaching and mostly taught the 4th grade. She was proud to earn the Outstanding Young Educators Award early in her career. She loved cats, especially black ones, and usually had no less than three most of the time. Judy is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Susan and George Stroop of Waynesville; and two nieces Kelli Stroop of Louisiana and Vikki Stickelman of Lebanon. A life celebration will be held Wednesday, February 25th, 4:00 pm at Quaker Heights Community Room, Edwards St., Waynesville. Rev. Gary D. Hughes of the Waynesville United Methodist Church will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Quaker Heights Activity Dept., 514 W. High St., Waynesville, Ohio 45068.
