June Rose Arden (Arden)'s Obituary
A very generous person who was known to also be a spitfire, June Rose Arden, age 79, of Bellbrook, passed away Wednesday, January 20th, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital.
June was born June 30th, 1941 to Charlotte (Wollenhaupt) and Richard Arden. She worked at Walmart Sugarcreek Plaza as a Modular Associate.
June loved bowling throughout her life, even recently. She loved BINGO and gambling, and looked forward to her annual trips to Vegas. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, cooking, and fishing. June gave blood at the Community Blood Center every chance she had, giving almost 100 times. She loved her grandkids and great-grandkids and would do anything for them. June was also very fond of Elvis Presley and Kenny Rogers music.
She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Charlotte Arden, sister Carol, brothers Bill, Bob, Dickie, and Forest, and niece Tammy. June is survived by her daughter Kathy Taylor (Terry), son Johnnie Porter (Melody), daughter Melissa Porter (Jimmy), eight grandchildren Traves Taylor (Amanda), Troy Taylor, Justin Porter, Stephanie Porter (Luke), Branden Porter, Ashley Porter, Nicole Collins (Brent), Aaron Adams (Emily), eight great-grandchildren Alexandria, Allison, Eli, Ellie, Monica, Riley, Presley, and Paisley, and sister Sue Johnson (Chuck).
To help the family celebrate her life, you are invited to a gathering of family and friends at First Baptist Church of Kettering 4780 Swigart Rd. Kettering, on Thursday, January 28th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Life Celebration Funeral will be Friday, January 29th at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Kettering with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton.
In memory of June, the family requests blood donations to the Community Blood Center (or if unable, monetary donations can be sent to CBC/CTS, Development Office, 349 S. Main Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402). You are welcome to send a condolence or flowers, plant a tree and share a story or picture about June at www.ConnerAndKoch.com by clicking on her name.
