Karen Annette "Nette" Jackson's Obituary
Karen Annette "Nette" Jackson, age 59, of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, January 4th, 2022.
Nette was born September 16th, 1962 in Youngstown, Ohio, growing up there and in Dayton. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and the Toros Motorcycle Club, both in Dayton.
Nette was a bartender for many years, a career she thoroughly enjoyed. She particularly enjoyed the atmosphere while bartending; dancing, karaoke, and singing, even though she wasn't as good at the latter. Nette loved to watch tv, especially Maury and Springer. She was an admirer of Jinga and Uno and other similar games. Most of all, she was passionate about her family and friends and modeled her commitment to them by her caregiving to family and being hospitable, especially to the neighborhood kids. Family and friends deeply loved her also and she will be profoundly missed.
Preceded in death by her father, Wade Dedrick, Nette is survived by her mother, Ethel; daughters, Karrington and Denae; son, Jeffrey Jr. (Breeana); siblings, Pamela Knolton, Victor Mays, Brenda Balogun, Jeffrey Mays, Sr., and Mark Mays; one granddaughter, Kiarah Shae Mays; Nette's boyfriend, Pepper Parks; oldest niece, LaNiece Mays; several other nieces and nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
