Kathleen M Wagner (Palguta)'s Obituary
Kathleen Marie Wagner, age 79, of Bellbrook, passed away on Saturday March 4th, 2023. Kathy was born on March 29th, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to Catherine (Paterek) and George Palguta. She spent her childhood in Cleveland and kept a lifelong love for the Cleveland teams.
Kathy earned her Bachelors degree from The Ohio State University. As an alumni, Kathy was an avid Ohio State fan. She loved to tailgate, see the marching band and especially enjoyed the bowl games. She worked as a Medical Social Worker until her retirement and then volunteered at the Bellbrook Sugarcreek Community Support Center. Kathy was devoted to her faith and family, but also found a great love for traveling, cruising, and exploring the world. She kept a record of all the places she visited but noted her top three were New Zealand, Iceland and of course, Scotland. A place to enjoy two of her other favorites, scotch and golf. When Kathy wasn’t traveling, she would find time to play cards with friends and family or relax with crossword and suduko puzzles.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, brother Patrick Palguta, and husband Robert Wagner. She is survived by her daughters, Chandra (Mark) Holstein and Colleen Sexton, her sister Susan Sistek, and long time friends Jane and Nancy.
