Laura Hunter's Obituary
A very feisty, strong-willed and humorous woman, Laura Jean Hunter, 57, resident of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at Patriot Ridge Community.
Laura was an avid gardener of flowers. When she wasn't outside working in her flowerbed, you could catch her reading a Stephen King novel or playing her guitar. She also loved cooking all kinds of different recipes, and even came up with some of her own creations. When she was younger, she loved drawing and painting many different things such as owls and even one of George Harrison. She will be remembered most for her decorating and cooking for the holidays, her witty sayings, and especially for her sassy personality.
She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Southgate. Laura is survived by her mother, Sally Southgate (Martz), son Brian (Meredith) Wrobel of Columbus, daughter Denise (Brian) Geier of Fairborn, 4 grandchildren McKenna & Alana Wrobel, Henry & Violet Geier, brother Bruce Hunter of Florida, three sisters Beverly Gould of Tennessee, Kerry Brown of California, Paula Crowell of Tennessee and many other friends and family members.
