My Wonderful Friend.....Knowing you won't be here to celebrate all the milestones in my future takes my breath away. We have shared so much in the 22 years we've been friends. My gosh all the laughs we shared (despite the risk of leaking in our bloomers haha). I'd almost bet you could circle the globe with all those books we read. Our vacation trips, and day trips were some of my most treasured memories. The last conversation we had ended with each of us telling the other how much we loved and appreciated each other. My life was made better by knowing you, my friend, and there is such a void now that you are gone. God is having some laughs as you settle into heaven to swap stories. Thank God for you,Bonnie, I love you!

Aunt Bonnie, I am so sad that you are not here with us anymore, but I am so glad that you are up there with Bud and the rest of the family. I know he has waited along time for his sweet Bonnie. I will definitely miss our monthly card parties, and our lunches to Cracker Barrel. I promise the next Skip I play will be in your memory. I treasure the recipes you shared with me, and have already passed it on to someone else. You have always been a special lady in my heart as well as the rest of the family's My sadness for you may be here, but the wonderful memories that I have with you will stay with me forever. I Love you and Miss you and I WILL see you again.

I was so sorry to hear that our sweet Bonnie passed away this morning. She was my neighbor and dear friend for 22 years. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, moving away from the house next door to hers! She stepped in when my Mom passed away in 1989, and a month later, she lost her husband, Bud. She was kind, caring, and generous. She was a Mom to me and a Grandma to my son John, and my grandsons Blair and James, will miss her terribly. She would can, preserve, and freeze all kinds of goodies and share them with us - she was always there to celebrate holidays and birthdays with us. She even bought candy to share with the kids (or anyone else who came to visit); she bought peppermints for my dogs and always had a few in her pocket when she came to our house. All I had to do was open my front door and let my old Gypsy dog out and say, "Let's go see Bonnie," and she'd make a bee line across the front yard and stand on Bonnie's front porch barking until Bonnie heard her and let her in. I will miss my dear friend, neighbor, and second "Mom," so very much; but now she's with her Bud, and all the health problems and worries are gone from her. I hope the angels enjoy her as much as we all did.
