Leona M. "Lee" Hull (Adams)'s Obituary
An independent, determined, and supportive mom and grandma, Leona M. "Lee" Hull, age 85, of Spring Valley, passed away Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born February 13th, 1932 in Ringtown, Pennsylvania to Della Adams and Charles Wisnesfskey. Lee retired as W.P.AF.B. Branch Chief where she ran the plans and programs for the Medical Research Lab. She also served as the Sugarcreek Twp. Clerk for a few years. Lee was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and former member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
Lee was a supportive grandma. She could be seen watching her grandchildren in various sports and competitions. She was Bellbrook Dance Academy's #1 fan as she enjoyed watching a couple of her grandchildren take dance lessons. In her many years of being a dance fan, she never missed a recital. Lee was a "shopaholic. She loved to shop on QVC, and made many trips to Marshalls, WalMart, and Home2Home. When she was healthier, she also enjoyed taking daily bike rides and being outside. In her early years, she and her husband, Bob, enjoyed traveling and driving to many a destination on their vacations from work.
She was preceded in death by her her parents; and husband, Robert Lewis Hull, Sr. Lee is survived by her son, Robert Lewis Hull, Jr. "Bob" (Melissa) of Dayton; daughter, Lori Larson (Eric) of Spring Valley; special friend and daughter-in-law, Catherine Hull of Oakwood; four grandchildren, Robert Lewis Hull III (Jennifer), Edward Hull (Lisa), Isaac Hull, and Monica Phillips (Josh); five great-grandchildren, Owen, Rory, Isaac Jr., Grayson, and Corbin..
The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 13th from 12-2 pm, immediately followed by life celebration services at 2:00 pm at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651). Rev. Stephan Becker officiating. Graveside services to follow at Bellbrook Cemetery.
