Lacy, Leroy G.
a longtime resident of Bellbrook, passed away naturally on Monday March 14, 2016 at the age of 77. Leroy was born, the second of twelve children, on April 4, 1938 in Dayton to Mary Alma (Lucas) and Roy Lacy. He enjoyed working with Esther Price Candies before retiring, and could often be seen wearing their logo attire. Leroy will be remembered for his love of antique cars, tinkering, repairing and restoring the engines and bodies. He enjoyed attending Auburn Cord Duesenberg and other car shows with his friends. Leroy will be missed daily at McDonalds for coffee in the mornings, Wednesday Night dinners at Marions Pizza and desert at Bill's Donuts. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, two sisters Barb and Sharon and best friend Ralph Schmidt. Leroy is survived by his son Chuck Lacy (Kim) of Seattle, WA; daughter Kelly Petruso (Jim) of Spring Valley; son Steven Lacy (Mikki) of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren Aaron, Morgan, Jessica, C.J., Laryssa, and Kiligha; step-grandchildren Jennifer and Matthew; brothers Fred (Stephanie), Don, Tom (Barb), Steve (Shannon), Chuck (Kathy); sisters Pam Ankeney (Ed), Judy, Linda Taylor (John), and close friends Larry Stratman and Jim Day. The family invites you to enjoy "Chicago style" popcorn and PEPSI when you attend Leroy's life celebration visitation on Sunday March 20th from 4-7 pm at CONNER & KOCH Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651). A Mass of Christian Burial to follow on Monday at 10:30 am at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville (937-433-1188) with Father Lawrence Mierenfeld officiating.
