Linda Sue Fisher's Obituary
Fisher, Linda Sue, age 69, of Centerville, passed away Monday, August 7th, 2017 in Dayton at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 8th, 1947 to Margaret (Taylor) and Benjamin Jakobowski.
Linda loved people and loved to spend time with them. She remained in touch with her elementary school friends, the Immaculate Girls, as well as Nancy's Girls and would go out with them from time to time. She cherished her time with them. Most of all, she loved to have her grandchildren over and would host them and her “adopted” grandchildren for get-togethers. Relationships were important to Linda and she always made an effort to keep them strong.
Linda loved Christmas and would collect snowmen. Linda sang with the Miami Valley Chorale throughout the year as well as their Christmas concerts. Linda was passionate about baking. She would bake a variety of things from brownies and cookies, to dog biscuits. One place her desserts were found often was at her Sunday night dinners.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Steven Fisher, father-n-law Dwight Fisher and mother-n-law Ann Fisher. Linda is survived by her son Eric (Jill) Fisher of Westland, Michigan and daughter Theresa (Tim) Seitner of Bellbrook; 4 grandchildren Ariana & Briana Fisher, Taylor Seitner, and Amber McDonald; sister Barbara (Paul) Perrone of Moneta, Virginia, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
