Linda Ann Markham (Lauvray)'s Obituary
Markham, Linda Ann, age 63, of Spring Valley, passed away Friday, February 24th, 2023.
She was born April 12th, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio to Alma (Baumer) and Robert Lauvray. She graduated from Centerville High School. Linda worked as an executive administrator for several years but her real passion was her work as a teacher's aide for special needs classes in Ohio and Tennessee.
Family values and activities meant much to Linda. She enjoyed sharing her Christian faith, love and joy in living as she participated in her families activities. Her children and their teammates benefitted from her as "Team Mom". She loved to spend time outdoors and on the water. Lake Norris was the site for many camp fires, skiing, and "cove bobbing". Holidays and birthday dinners weren't complete without her Cinnamon Bundt Cake and Pina Coladas. After her husband and family, her greatest love was horses. From barrel racing her first horse Brandy, to visiting a Yellowstone Dude Ranch, horses were woven into many facets of her life, and into her travels.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, David, sons Cody (Megan) and Austin Markham, and grandchild Mason. Her mother Alma Wallace, sister Diane (Dennis) Morris and brother Mike (Cindy) Lauvray, and her dog Buster.
To help the family celebrate her life, you are invited to share during her visitation at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home (92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook, Ohio 45305) on Saturday March 11, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:30pm with her Memorial Service to start immediately following the visitation. Linda will be buried at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio in a private ceremony.
