Watched the video. Such beautiful photos of a beautiful woman. It's hard to write through the tears. I have only known Linda since the 90's so it was special to see her as a young woman. For several years she and Paul invited my husband and me to join them for a Fourth of July party at their friends' downtown condo. It was delightful to sit around and talk with them and watch fireworks together. Another memory I have is when I was associate pastor at Mason UMC, Linda helped me start a lay ministry to care for shut-in's. She was working at Aley UMC at the time. She was so kind, caring, and competent in her work with seniors. And an excellent mentor for me. First and foremost though, for me she was a good friend. Before the pandemic she started a book club and invited me to join. Paul would bring her to the library in Kettering where we met. She so enjoyed that. Me too, mainly just because I liked being with Linda. I miss her.
