Marilyn Sue "Lucy" Lamb (Stiver)'s Obituary
Marilyn "Lucy" (Stiver ) Lamb, age 79 , of Waynesville, passed away Monday, February 6th, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital South.
She was born April 10, 1937 in Dayton to Edith (Stevens) and Charles Stiver. She retired from N.C.R. after working many satisfying years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Chuck, three brothers and four sisters. Marilyn is survived by her daughters Kathy Furnas (Doug) and Tammy Gibson (Richard), all of Waynesville, five grandchildren Dale Stacy (Laura), Matthew Bly (Andrea), Laura Servis (Kurtis), Morgan Gibson, and Madison Gibson, six great-grandchildren Mikayla, Benjamin, Andrew, Emma, Waylon, and Wyatt..
Marilyn loved going to the casinos and playing the slots, Friday date nights at Cracker Barrell, watching Wheel of Fortune, and playing cards and Yahtzee. The grandkids will always remember the times she played "Hide the Fruit" with them. Most of all, Marilyn loved family get-togethers where everyone brings a covered dish to share. To help the family celebrate her life, you are invited to bring a covered dish to the visitation on Thursday February 9th from 5-8 pm at CONNER & KOCH Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook. Life celebration services will continue on Friday, February 10th, 2017 at 12:00 pm with burial to follow at Miami Cemetery in Waynesville.
