Marilyn Collette Roth (Fitzgerald)'s Obituary
A quiet, affectionate caregiver, who lived her life caring for others, Marilyn Collette Roth, age 85, of Bellbrook, passed away Monday, May 29th, 2017. She was born June 18th, 1931 to Mary (Gavin) and James Fitzgerald, the second of three girls.
She was preceded in death by her her parents, one son, Mark Roth, and sister Eileen Sholtes, Marilyn is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Adams (Tom) of Bellbrook, and Collette Geis (Ray) of Virginia; one son, Kevin Roth of Centerville; 7 grandchildren, Jason, Jimmy, Kristen, Megan, Caitlin, Hannah, and Hayley; and sister, Jean of Pennsylvania.
Marilyn loved her Catholic faith. She loved playing BINGO, watching QVC on TV, and going to the movies. Marilyn enjoyed listening to the old crooners like Frank, Dean, Sammy and Louis, but she was particularly fond of Frank. Pies, cookies, and pastries were among her favorite sweets.
You are invited to a visitation to celebrate her life on Thursday June 1st from 10:30-11:30 am at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook. Catholic services will follow at 11:30 am with Father Manning officiating.
