Our love and sympathy to your family at this difficult time. May each passing day help to heal the sadness in your heart.
Uncle Wono, Janie, Ruthie and Susie,
I can't begin to tell you what an impact Aunt Mimi had on my life. She was a second Mom to me. And... I never had sisters, but I had them at the house next door. You are ALL part of my life - I quote "Aunt Mimi-isms" to everyone, but right now, I'll only share that Aunt Mimi was "beautimous" in my eyes - and everyone who knew her.
(Acts 24:15) and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Dear Wilmer,
When I became employed at Dorothy Lane Market/Oakwood in 2002, one of my greatest pleasures was interacting with you and Mary when you came into the store to buy her favorite soup or even to order a caseload of the soup. In our conversations I was always impressed with your love for one another and the fun you had together. I congratulated you on your 60th anniversary. I prayed for you when Mary could no longer come shopping with you. I was inspired by your undying devotion to her in these past difficult years. I wish I could be there Saturday to honor her memory alongside you. Know that you are in my prayers today. I trust you will sense God's consoling Spirit with you. Thank you for modeling the essence of marriage and friendship. God bless you!
