It has been with special affection and respect that we recall how laughingly and heartily Mary Ann welcome everyone in every way she could. Limited to correspondence these last few years, we would reflect on the serious, loving and profound caring she demonstrated. It is with gratitude and prayers that we recall her life of dedication and kindness.

Our family and Mary Ann Monseur's family joyously celebrate the beginning of her new life. She chose one of the holier seasons of the year to join with our Lord and Saviour and also Mary, His Mother, to commemorate His birth.
All of us loved Mary Ann and her wonderful family. Mary Ann loved God and the Church and had a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was always available to help anyone or any noble cause without waiting to be asked. She is one of the last remaining giants of her era and her wise counsel will be missed. The legacy that she leaves will be difficult to emulate.
We are thankful to her parents for giving us Mary Ann. She joins her departed family and relatives and is free of worldly suffering. We celebrate her new life with the Lord. We humbly ask for her prayers.
I am saddened to hear of the loss of your dear Mother. I remember her kindness and gentle spirit. May God bless you with peace.
My sincere sympathy to the family of Mary Ann Monseur, especially Sister Mary Bowman, SFCC. While I never knew your wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, her obituary certainly gave us a picture of an extraordinary woman who will be missed greatly. I am sure that Christmas was a difficult time for you, but know that many are supporting you in prayer. Please know that those prayers will continue.
The prayers and support from so many has been such a comfort to the (Bowman)Monseur family. On behalf of the Family, I want to convey our deepest thanks to all for your love and care. It means more than you know. I truly believe Mary Ann was a very special daughter, a chosen disiple.

Dear mary Jo and Kevin..... please know you all are in our prayers. It is so hard to lose your Mother. Mary Jo, think of all the fun things and good memories. She was a wonderful person and I enjoyed meeting her. God will give you the strength to get through this - - Don's hesitate to call on your friends for support.
