To the Grushon Family:
We were so sorry to hear that Coach Grushon had passed. Taylor wanted to attend the services, but was unable to leave school due to a presentation and test. We did see Taylor over the weekend, and he spent time telling us fun stories and memories about Coach Grushon. Several of the boys would hang out in Coach’s classroom each day just visiting him. I am sure they were suppose to be somewhere else, but chose to spend this time talking to Coach Grushon. One day, he told them he had a lot of work to do and they could not stay in his classroom. They proceeded to hide from him in his room. Taylor laughed when he remembered how “surprised” Coach was when they popped out to scare him. Taylor’s imitation of him saying “what are you guys doing” with a very puzzled face, even made me smile. I can say that I don’t remember all of my teachers/coaches. There is no doubt that Coach Grushon will be remembered forever by my son, and many more. He seemed to have a gift for connecting with these young men. As a parent, I would like to say that I remember that even if Taylor was having a horrible game, when most coaches would have taken him out of the game, Coach Grushon kept him in the game and helped him develop confidence and the ability to handle adversity. I also remember the constant presence of Mr. and Mrs. Grushon at the games, and Mr. Grushon’s dedication to keeping the stats. I thank you for all that your son and family have done for the kids of Bellbrook. You must be proud that he has left his stamp on their memories and has assisted them in maturing into young adults.
Sincere Sympathy, Tracy Winans (Mother of Taylor Click)

To the Grushon Family,
I would like to send my deepest condolences to your family. I was sad to hear the news about Micah, not just a roommate or college buddy, but a dear friend. Micah was one of the most kind-hearted, loyal friends a man could have. I know he is on to a place of peace and tranquility. My thoughts will be with your family in these difficult days ahead. He will be truly missed...and Kentucky basketball will never be the same without him!!
Take Care, Micah, may you rest in peace.

It is with a heavy heart to send my condolence for the passing of a good friend. There are many memories I have throughout high school and college that Micah was a part of. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to have Micah as a friend and very sad that he is no longer with us. We will miss him greatly, and think of him often.
Micah, rest in peace. To the Grushon family, may you find peace in remembering Micah's smile and good heart.
Our deepest sympathies,
Brad, Marcie, Alexis and Drew Breese
I knew Micah from the High School. He was a very nice man and I always enjoyed talking to him. I remember when he would come in over the summer or during break and bring his dog. He loved the dog who made good company and prompted many conversations. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
