Nancy Ann Willis (Miles)'s Obituary
Nancy Ann Willis of Xenia, died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at the age of 77, after a long illness. She was born on May 23, 1945 in Jonesville, Virginia to Charles and Rowena (Martin) Miles.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lee Willis, son Stephen Willis, brother Charles Miles, and sister Judy Robbins. She is survived by her son Michael Willis of Kettering, daughters Monica (Dan) Jamison of Spring Valley and Stacy (Matt) Tope of Kettering, grandson David Willis of Kettering, sister Anita (Larry) Roberts as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Nancy worked at Fulmer's Community Market for many years until she retired in 2010. She enjoyed spending her time with family, friends and grand doggies, and helping at the Spring Valley Senior Center. Whether it was being a "handyman", decorating for holidays or sampling local festival food and crafts, she was always ready to go. Hunting for seashells at Myrtle Beach and visiting the Grand Canyon was a highlight in her travels. When Nancy did spend time at home, she could be found working on complicated 1000 plus piece puzzles, or tending to her flower beds filled with hostas, roses, and lilies.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Symphony of Centerville and Miami Valley Hospice for their dedicated care during her long illness.
