Deepest condolences Aunt Carol . Love you all , hugs and prayers
Dave and I will miss JR so much. We loved his worship leadership at Kettering Assembly of God Church. He was a true friend and felt like a brother to us. He is no longer in pain, for which we are thanking the Lord. Our prayers go up for his sweet wife, Carol, and his daughters. We will see him again someday and will not have to say goodbye ever again! Love and Prayers, Pam & Dave Douglas
My daughters and I attended Kettering Assembly for many years, and worshiped the Lord under JR’s direction. He truly helped usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit with his music. I loved singing under his direction. We were privileged to have JR sing at both of my parent’s funerals. Oh, what a blessing he has been! Our thoughts and prayers are with you Carol, Robyn, Kerrie, and Tammy. We look forward to the day when we join you and JR again to sing and worship our Lord. And, oh, “What A Day That Will Be”!
Dearest Uncle, We are thankful for the memories of time spent together and for the gift of knowing you. With love, Stephen & Brenda
We have wonderful memories of being in services with Bro. Jr. He was a very special christian brother. We enjoyed staying in touch with him via Face Book over the years. Appreciated his prayers, encouragement, and friendly chats. He always had a smile and something uplifting to say. He will truly be missed. Our love and prayers go out to Carol and his lovely daughters. They were definitely the reason he was so happy in this life. He was so proud of them, and loved them next to his God. - and let everybody know it! Rest well Jr, until we meet again. Love you. Frank & Diana Campbell
I believe I never saw this man without a smile on his face. Paul and I saw JR and Carol over the years, but never forgot the times we shared at church, in choir, or JR as song leader, the different church events, etc. Those kind of friendships and memories never fade. We share our deepest condolences with Carol and the girls, yet rejoice, at the same time, knowing that he is rejoicing before our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our prayers are and lover are with you.Paul and Patti Jensvold
JR Man of God voice of an angel. Growing up with him and his daughters spending family dinners and singing with him in church. Always smiling and making you laugh. I will always hold those sweet memories in my heart. To the family I am sorry and I am praying for peace within your hearts as we know he is with his Heavenly Father rejoicing and singing along those golden roads. My love to you all !
JR is one of the greatest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and loving. One time I was messaging him and I spelled my name wrong. So right then and there I became Jukie! I still laugh when I hear his voice calling me Jukie in my mind. He spent countless hours making me a cradle for my first born son. I had never received such a thoughtful handmade gift. Carol and JR were truly Heaven sent to me after I suffered major losses. His love for the Lord and amazing way of sharing it with others was so very profound. My life was blessed with his amazing and warm soul. Heaven truly received an Angel that was ready to rejoice and go home. You will forever be remembered JR. Friends are friends forever. Love, Jukie
