Rick was our Son-In-Law. He Was truly the best husband, father and friend to everyone. He took on the responsibility of being a stepfather to a 2 year old and a 6 year old with such easiness, love, and pride that was inspiring. He always thought of others before himself which was shown when his wife was going through chemo at the same time as he was, but always concerned about her well being, instead of his own. His first priority was his family. He proved that by working more than 2 years full time while going through weekly chemo. Most people would have given up....but not Rick. He showed his love to our daughter in so many little ways, too numerous to count. He spent time with his children by being there, encouraging them, helping them and showing his love to them. We loved him like he was our son and have tried to ease his burdens so he would not worry about his family. Rick never complained, which is amazing in what he endured, always smiling and singing little tunes. He was a great role model for his children and loved them deeply. We know he will compntinue to be with us forever...but we still will miss him. WE LOVE YOU RICK.
