I am Philadene's next door neighbor and, although I've only known her since 2004 we became friends. I'd often see her working out in her yard with her flowers in the spring and summer. She was a very special, strong and independent lady. I will miss her laugh, seeing her out there tinkering around in her yard. I look over from my window to her house and I know she's not there and it hurts. She was a good friend and neighbor! May God continue to comfort and bless her children .
