He loved and excelled at basketball, baseball, and football, with a great emphasis on football which earned him a scholarship to Marshall University. Ronnie lived in Beavercreek, Ohio until retirement when he moved to Fishers, Indiana to help in the care of his grandsons. He had an extraordinary love and commitment to his sons and family, which was often demonstrated, but none more than when he frequently worked a night shift, then drove directly to Indiana to help care for his grandsons.
