Rita M. DeCurtins (Kremer)'s Obituary
DeCurtins, Rita M., 94, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday October 25, 2016. She was born January 18, 1922 in Celina, Ohio to Elizabeth (Pohl) and John Kremer. Rita was a member of Holy Angels Church for over 65 years. She was an avid antique collector and dealer. Rita enjoyed collecting dolls, glass, and china, and anything else that caught her eye. She also loved organizing and running estate sales. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 44 years, Carl DeCurtins, grandson Christopher Turner, four sisters, Henrietta McGriff, Dorothy Kolp, Isabel Montsinger and Marie Rengers. Rita is survived by her son, James DeCurtins (Sue) of Troy, three daughters Rebecca Bowers (Bill) of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Denise Enouen (Bill) of Centerville, Elizabeth Watkins (Roger) of Bellbrook, 12 grandchildren, Abbey DeCurtins, Zack DeCurtins (Sarah), Adam Galley (Julia), Carrie Jaster (Lance), Lisa Holiga, Nicole Ranere (Christopher), Dan Enouen, Matt Enouen, Staci Turner, Andy Turner (Megan), Chelsea Turner, Jenny Watkins, 10 great-grandchildren, Nick, Nash, Tinley, Noah, Cydney, Cammie, Brayden, Taylor, Mason and Bella, two sisters, Kathryn Garland of Dayton and Martha Kittle of Celina, and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday October 29th from 12-1:30 pm at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1625 Calvary Dr., Dayton. A funeral mass will follow at 1:30 pm with Father Greg Konerman officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent, 124 W. Apple St., Dayton, Ohio 45402 (stvincentdayton.org).
