Robert "Bob" Roberts' Obituary
Roberts, Robert “Bob”, 75, of Bellbrook, left this life for a better place on Sunday August 7, 2016. He was born March 11, 1941 in Dayton to Freda S. (Spitler) and Allen M. Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Billy and Dale, and sister Barbara. Bob is survived by his brother Dennis (Diane), sister-in-law Ruth, nephews Byron, Rick (Kathy), Craig (Issabelle), Michael (Cathy), Rick and Jeff, niece Joyce Singer (Charles), and two very special friends Stan and Ann Gibson. Bob served his country with honor in the U.S. military, and was a member of the former American Legion Post #761 Bellbrook and a lifetime member of Post #165 Miamisburg. He loved fishing, his dog “Brandy”, and the Cincinnati Reds, especially the Big Red Machine. He also liked golfing, Cincinnati Bengals, and fresh cut tomatoes. A life celebration visitation will be held on Monday August 15th from 6-8 pm at CONNER & KOCH Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651). A brief military honors service will conclude the evening. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tridia Hospice, 329 N. Broad St., Fairborn, Ohio 45324.
