Condolences to the family and friends of Roger. I first met Roger as a new engineer at WPAFB. He always had a kind word, was soft spoken, always patient no matter the question, and was always willing to help us newbie's out. Being a fellow GA pilot, I used to love to talk to Roger about airplanes, and the Dayton Pilots Club. Rest in peace, friend.

Roger is my cousin and a lifelong friend. He generously flew us around California and Nevada. He and his mother visited us in Illinois when they attended the Air Show in Wisconsin one year. He loved to be in the air, and was an outstanding and careful pilot. Condolences to Linda and family.
Please accept my sincere condolences on Rogers passing. We were friends and workmates on the B-1b bomber program at the base. Roger was a super good engineer and he contributed largely to the program. We used to go on temporary duty(tdy) to Los Angeles together and one weekend we had to stay over. Roger rented a small plane in Burbank and we took a trip up the coast and landed on a dirt track by this small lake. What scared me the most was taking off and landing from this huge airport with all of the commercial jets coming from all directions. Roger handled it perfectly never showing any signs of stress while I am setting there beside him scared out of my skin! I will always remember that day. I am so sorry that Roger didn't get more time on this earth, but I know that he is going where the good guys go. GOD Bless Him.
Condolences from Marty (Martha) Hibbs and her sister in law Dort Kratzer. They have many fond memories of Roger as a friend and fellow pilot Don Hibbs, and as a traveling companion. So sad for the family, sincere sympathy from both Marty and Dort.
My husband, son and I had the privilege of taking amateur radio classes with Roger. We became friends and enjoyed working and volunteering with him at the Bellbrook Amateur Radio Club. He was a kind and interesting man. He will truly be missed!
I had the joy of inherenting Roger as my Uncle through marriage. He was always a kind, sweet man that my family loves dearly. Roger would tell me fascinating stories about his life and was always sharing with a smile and laughter. He was also my partner in crime when it came to cooking Thanksgiving or Christmas, always offering to help. My kids loved playing with him..they would wear on him I'm sure but he was the most patient with them. We will miss him tremendously.
