Ron Crapyou's Obituary
Ronald Lee "Ron" Crapyou, a man of deep faith, age 74, of Kettering, went home to the Lord on Monday, October 25th, 2021.
Ron was born on March 26th, 1947 to Clara Crapyou (Menix) and Ronald Crapyou. After graduating with Meadowdale High School's Class of 1965, Ron served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He married his wife of 50 years, Mary (Papp) Crapyou and then became employed as a Job Setter and Forklift Operator for Delphi, where they made shocks and struts for cars, a fitting career for a car aficionado like Ron.
Not only did Ron love Corvette's and Trans Ams, he was also a stock car driver at Kil-Kare Speedway during his early years. Ron was always very involved in his church, Marshall Road First Church of God, he served at Springfield camp meeting, Camp Marengo, the food pantry, and with the youth group, just to name a few. Ron truly enjoyed cooking. He was always working on new recipes and ideas, but always made the favorites too. Ron's friends and family looked forward to receiving his famous Milky Way Cakes for New Year's, and everyone agreed that he made the best baked beans. He also made a good and convincing Santa Clause, a role he played for many, many years. Ron was hugely involved in the lives of his grandchildren, they were everything to him. He loved family, faith, and... cars. He was a caring man with a great sense of humor, and many will miss his reliable answer the next time they find themselves in need of help.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Clara Crapyou, and granddaughter Ronda Crapyou.
Ron is survived by his wife, Mary Crapyou, children Angela Crapyou and Andrea Crapyou, grandchildren Skylynn Siens, Jayden Crapyou, and Adalynn Crapyou, siblings Sandy Katulak (Joe), Tim Carroll, and Tom Carroll (Laurie), brother-in-law John Papp Jr., step-dad Don Sears, best friend Gaylord Fitzwater, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and good friends.

A Life Celebration service will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at 10:00am at Marshall Road First Church of God, with procession and military honors to follow immediately to Calvary Cemetery for burial.
