Ruby Thacker (King)'s Obituary
Thacker, Ruby, age 86, of Bellbrook, passed away Monday, December 11th, 2017 in Kettering at Oak Creek Terrace. She was born June 4th, 1931 to James and Amanda (Lambdin)King. She was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother.
You could find Ruby either flower gardening, quilting or crocheting. Ruby had a passion for collecting baby dolls. She and her husband Lauly enjoyed going to flea markets and collecting antiques. Most importantly spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and many of her siblings. Ruby is survived by her husband Lauly Thacker, her daughter Jan Marie Hamilton (Donald), her sons Norman Thacker (Valerie) and James Thacker (Georgia), and her brother Clifford King (Grace). She had two grandchildren, Sarah Carver (Evan) and Jonny Thacker (Emily). Great granddaughter Mia Rue Carver, and great granddaughter baby Thacker due February 2018.
To help the family celebrate her life, you are invited to share during the visitation at Conner and Koch Life Celebration home from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday December 14th with Life Celebration Services at 7pm. Graveside Services will be held Friday, December 15th, 2017 at 10:00 am at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
