I have such great memories of Tom and Ruby. They were very close friends of my parents, and we truly grew up in each other's company. For a time, we went to dinner every Friday with the Doggets and the Rosses. Tina Ross and I loved riding with Tom and Ruby to the restaurant, because they happily let us sit in the back seat of their car and sing at the top of our lungs, all the way to Mom's Kitchen.
