Timothy Preston Lacy's Obituary
Lacy, Timothy Preston, of Englewood, passed away unexpectedly on Sat. February 6, 2016 at the age of 61. Timothy was born to Preston and Lois (Truesdell) Lacy on November 13, 1954 in Maysville, Kentucky. He graduated from Bethel Bible College and worked 41 years for Kroger in Piqua. He had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and greatly enjoyed Bible study. Tim always wanted to be outside, from hiking a trail to working in his vegetable garden, he loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed reading, good food, and most of all, his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 39 years, Marissa (Ownbey) Lacy, daughter Heidi Michelle Valdez (Ray), son Timothy Preston Lacy II, son Seth Barrett Lacy (Natalie), nine grandchildren Caleb, Hannah, Noah, Miriam, Micah, Levi, Aaron, Rebekah and Abigail, two sisters, Theresa Montgomery (Juney), Janice Ray (Robert), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Brian Kent Lacy. Friends and family are invited to gather for a life celebration visitation on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016 from 5-7 pm at the Salvation Army Kroc, 1000 N. Keowee St., Dayton. Life celebration services will follow at 7:00 pm with Major Tom Duperee officiating. An additional life celebration service will be held 12:00 pm (noon) Thursday at East Fork Christian Church in Kentucky where Dr. Wayne Essex will officiate.
