Victor A. Hartsook's Obituary
HARTSOOK, Victor A., age 64, of Beavercreek and formerly of Xenia and Waynesville, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek.
Victor graduated from Xenia High School, class of ’79. He worked for GM for over 30 years before retiring in 2022. He was an avid deer hunter and greatly loved fishing. He lived a simple life but always tried his best to help others. He would give the shirt off of his back, even if that was the only one he had. He always tried to keep everyone in line.
He loved his family fiercely. Victor looked forward to spending the holidays at his grandparents’ house. He appreciated being able to take care of them and spending time with them. Among many things, he will be remembered for his love of riding the winding roads on his Harley Davidson and the pride he had for his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jason; his father, Donald Sparrow; step-father, Ralph Gann; one brother, Carl Sparrow; and two sisters, Andrea Sparrow and Debra Parker. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Greene; one step-daughter, Erin (Travis) LeMaster; many grandchildren; his mother, Joann Gann; one brother, Dale (Tammy) Sparrow; two sisters, Lisa Bishop and Kathy (Kevin) Hayslip; numerous nieces and nephews; his friend since high school, Jimmy Richardson; his good friend, Genny Osborne; and his former wife, Diane Johnson.
A private graveside service for immediate family will be at a later date at Bellbrook Cemetery. Conner & Koch Funeral Home in Bellbrook is serving the family. Condolences at www.connerandkoch.com.
