Virginia "Vicky" "Ginny" (Simmons) Hartley's Obituary
Hartley, Virginia "Vicky" "Ginny" Ann (Simmons), age 93, passed away Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 at her residence in St. Leonard's Community. She was born August 1st, 1929 in Piqua, Ohio. Virginia was a 1971 Wright State University graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Education. She was employed as a high school Spanish teacher for the Sugarcreek School District until she retired in 1989.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, and young daughter Jill. Virginia is survived by her children Rob (Dianne) Hartley of Columbus and Debbie (Tom) Grizzell of Dayton; her grandchildren Aaron Hartley and Sarah Hartley; her great- grandchildren Colin (Chelsea), Kathleen, Mia, Riley, Nora and Anna Hartley, and great-great-grandchildren Keenan, Quinn, Teegan, and Reagan Hartley, as well as many dear cousins.
The family has planned a Life Celebration Memorial Visitation for July 15th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home (92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook, OH 45305).
