Virginia A Pulley (Rigsby)'s Obituary
Pulley, Virginia A., age 76, of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, August 4th, 2016 at Kettering Hospital after a hard fought battle with several years of failing health. Virginia was born November 16, 1939 in Louisville, Ky. to Chester and Virginia ( Sigler) Rigsby. She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jon Rigsby, nieces: Meredith Rigsby and Catherine Rigsby and her ex- husband and friend, Bill Pulley. Virginia retired from the City of Marion Utilities Dept. and worked several years at Citizens National Bank in Marion, Indiana. She moved to Centerville, Ohio in 2008. She was a member of ABWA, American Business Women's' Association and active for many years with the Grant County Democratic Party.
Virginia is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law: Pamela and Robert Etherton of Marion, Indiana and Cynthia and Jeff Dixon of Bellbrook; two granddaughters: Madeline and Emma Dixon of Bellbrook; two brothers Bruce ( Barbara) Rigsby of Queensland, Australia and David ( Margery) Rigsby of Frankfort, Kentucky ; nieces and nephews : Mark Rigsby of Jakarta, Indonesia, Janeen Pope of Queensland, Australia, Kimberly Hardin Thorpe of Vero Beach, Florida and Justin Rigsby of Frankfort, Kentucky. Virginia loved spending time with her granddaughters and she enjoyed reading and working all kinds of puzzles. A celebration of Virginia's life will be held in Marion, Indiana on Saturday, August 20th at her daughter Pam's home with the family receiving friends and family from 2:00-5:00 p.m. The family is being served by Conner& Koch Life Celebration Home, Bellbrook .
