Zachary Truett's Obituary
A compassionate, sensitive, gentle, loving, adventurous, artistic, and often a "misunderstood genius", Zachary "Moe" "Moeski" Truett, died on September 11, 2021. Zach was born December 12, 1991 in Dayton.
Zach was unbelievably artistic and talented, and loved playing guitar and music. Zach was passionate about caring for and the well-being of animals. He enjoyed drawing and designing but didn't care much for traditional schooling. Zach was a spiritual believer who loved his family and friends unconditionally. As a family, they enjoyed gathering together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. As a child, he loved late night dance parties on the weekends, going to Blockbuster and getting pizza on Friday nights, as well as boating and tubing.
Zach was survived by his parents, Tracy (Waltz) Truett, Jeff Truett (step-mother Marlies Thomas); sisters, Casey Truett, Heather Chaney; step-siblings, Sarah & Nick Thomas; nieces, Aunna Langster, Mia Langster, and their mother Lavel Mathers, and niece Lilly; and cousins Charlee, Jamee, Kylee, and Emree.
To help the family celebrate his life, you are invited to share during his visitation at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home (92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook, OH 45305) on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Life Celebration Services will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00 pm.
Zach will be remembered mostly for his big smile, imagination, bravery, huge heart and having the most beautiful, gentle soul to walk this earth.
