Joe Bledsoe

An ornery and witty jokester, a kind, fun and easy going husband, brother, uncle and friend, and the best dad, Joseph Marvin "Joe" Bledsoe, age 64, of Bellbrook, passed away Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. He was born September 26th, 1956 to Joseph and Billie (Clark) Bledsoe. Joe earned his Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology at Kettering Medical College. Before retiring, Joe worked at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton as the IT Manager. He was preceded in death by his his parents; paternal grandparents, Walter and Pebble Bledsoe; and maternal grandparents, James and Helen Clark. Joe is survived by wife, Rebecca (Shaefer) Bledsoe; four children, Jason Bledsoe, Andrew Bledsoe (Andrea) & their daughter, Peyton, Christopher Bledsoe, and Natalie Bledsoe; one brother, Jack Hale; two sisters, Brenda Newton (Jim Hurley) and Janice Muth (John); and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe loved sports and was an avid Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Rams, and Ohio State Buckeyes Football fan. He was fascinated with numbers and statistics, especially when it came to poker and baseball. Joe will also be remembered for teasing people he liked including family, friends and co-workers. To help the family celebrate his life, you are invited to a gathering of family and friends on Sunday January 17th from 2-4 pm at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook. Life Celebration Services will follow at 4:00 pm.
