Tatyana "Tanya" Berkovich

Tatyana "Tanya" Berkovich, age 74, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, February 23rd, 2020. She was born in Kolchugino, Russia on January 18th, 1946 to Zoya (Sukhova) and Ivan Khokhlov(a). She completed her Master's Degree in Engineering from Moscow Steel & Alloy University. She was employed as a Technician for Heapy Engineering for over 15 years. Tanya loved knitting and crocheting to create various items in her spare time. She was very fond of cooking and baking for her family. Tanya loved researching the history of Russia, England and France. Where ever she and her husband went, she loved to get out on the dance floor and create lasting memories. She was known for drinking her black coffee, along with a piece of Havarti cheese. She will be remembered for being an incredibly strong woman and fighting her disease for 9 years, while she continued working until she was 72 years old, along with the love she shared with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Tanya is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Konstantin "Kostya" Berkovich; daughter Alla Berkovich, and son Aaron Berkovich; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ezra) Halle, Michael, Rachel, Jacob, and Gregory Berkovich; great-grandchildren, Alyza, Meier and Shlomo Halle; her brother Anatoliy (Nadezhda) Khoklov(a), along with many numerous family members and friends.
