A year has passed since we lost Mr. Risner, but I know he lives in the hearts of all of us who knew him. He was the best teacher ever, and one who deeply cared for his students and wanted them to learn the sciences he taught. I give my condolences to his family and loved ones, as anniversaries can be difficult.

I was saddened to hear of Clarence's passing, he was the best friend I had here on Earth. I enjoyed many knife shows with him. We had many conversations, not just about knives but life. Austin, He was so proud of you and your accomplishments and he loved to tease Betty. He was always so good to my family and I. He really will be missed.

My condolences you Mr Risner's loved ones. He was my favorite teacher. I made me live learning, love science. I graduated college with a chemistry degree and then went into biochemistry. I now work at MD Anderson managing clinical trials. Me Risner was a huge influence on me getting where I am. I remember lots of the lessons he taught beyond chemistry. I remember his -isms, his laughter, his passion. I knew that he loved us all. Mr. Risner will be missed. His influence will live on. God bless. Class of 85
Clarence was one of the best people I have ever known. I still remember vividly the first day I ever met him. He was kind, loving and upbeat. He and I loved to pick on one another from the very first. That was part of the fun. He never, ever made me feel bad though. In fact, he took care of me in so many ways. His students loved him too. In fact, our daughter was so upset when he retired that she argued with him over it. Can you imagine students being angry that you retired,? But that was Clarence's legacy. So many people who loved him.
Mr. Risner was one of the very best teachers I had at Bellbrook High School. I had him for Biology and Chemistry. He knew how to share his passion for Science in an interesting and always humorous way:-)I know I wouldn't have passed Chemistry if it hadn't been for his willingness to tutor me after school. I am very saddened to learn we have lost one of the best high school teachers ever. I was lucky enough to have him for a teacher for all 4 years in high school. He was also my home room teacher for 4 years. He even went on our senior class trip back in 1963! He was fun, but made sure we learned the sciences he taught, so I was well prepared when I went to college. My sincere condolences to his family. He will certainly be missed.
Mr. Risner will certainly be missed. He was a great teacher. His teaching was serious, but he made it fun at the same time.
My trips back to Ohio would always include a luncheon with some of the Classmates of 63 and Mr. Risner.
