Eugenia Marie Prather's Obituary
Eugenia Marie "Jean" Prather, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love.
She touched many lives, not only her immediate family but all the extended families of which she was a part. The joy of children kept her young.
Jean enjoyed bowling, dancing, and was involved in the Ladies Auxillary of the 82nd Airborne. She enjoyed poems, writing for all the special people in her life so in her honor, we are sharing this one with you.
"A gentle reminder that we're never far apart.
My spirit will live on forever there within your heart.
And when you see a butterfly here to brighten your day
Remember that I'm there with you and there I'll always stay."
Jean is survived by her three children, Tammy; Michelle (Steve); and Marty (Karin); and granddaughter, Rachel.
She taught us many lessons of life and the most valuable one is "a day without laughter is a day wasted".
No services will be held at this time. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton.
