I knew Mrs. Haley for over 50 years and always was welcomed to her home the hundreds of times I was there. She and her husband were always comfortable to talk with which was an important part of growing up. Most all of the parents of my friends were quite helpful in those challenging years of youth. And Mrs. Haley still stayed in touch via Facebook chats. I was really surprised when she apologized for missing my birthday this past October via a belated note due to her health issues. That means a lot now. All the best to Dave, Tim, and her family during this time and beyond.
