I had the privilege to work with Joan as a medical Social Worker at Miami Valley Hospital for a couple years prior to her retirement . She was very kind and very well respected. I also took my family to see her perform as part of the singing Christmas Tree Program at the Far Hills Church. I have thought of her often over the years with fondness.
