To Marilyn and the Rush family. We just learned of Joe's passing today. We are sorry that we will not be able to attend services today. Joe was a good friend and colleague and l have many great memories from our days at. BHS. So glad for the visit we had here at the lake not so long ago. The class of 55 of Wayne Twp (Kenton) school sends condolences to the family. We think that the job at Kenton was probably his first as he wan't much older than that class. Some of the classmates remember trying to give him a hard time as we weren't used to having a "young teacher"!47
I was saddened to hear of Mr. Rushs' passing. I had him for Ohio History when I was in the 8th Grade at Bellbrook. He fostered a love of history that I still have today. My sympathy and prayers to his family. Judi Vargo Anderson
I have vivid memories (nightmares) of drivers Ed with Mr.Rush , especially when a bird hit the windshield my first time behind the wheel. He earned his money that day! Teachers touch our lives in so many ways and Mr. Rush was one of my favorites... I'm very sorry for your loss...
