Patty...Gone. I am in shock its May 8th and I just saw this on the Fairmont East Class of 77 page.
Patty was one of my dearest friends. We knew each other from 2nd grade. We remained friends throughout the years. During our Sophomore year of HS we double dated for a Homecoming dance.
I knew her parents and she was so happy to have purchased her childhood home. Nathan, I never met you, but just know your mother's face would light up when I would ask about Nathan. You are so young to have lost your mom. I will keep you in my prayers. My eyes are full as I type, knowing that I will never see that bright smile again.
Patty was such a kind and loving person who never met a stranger. I’m so sorry her family didn’t treat her better.
Only knew Patty a short time while she worked at the Spring Valley Senior Center. She was always there to help out anyone she could. She is already missed at the Center. Deepest Sympathy to the Family. Becky Sellers
I grew up with Patty & remember her bubbling personality. I enjoyed reconnecting with her at HS reunions. She was such a bright light in so many lives & will be missed dearly. Sending prayers to her family.
I know Patty's parents and her aunts, uncles and cousins, for many years "The Carters", but really got to know Patty in the last year. She was always bubbling over with joy, and her conversations were most interesting. We will surely miss her at Spring Valley Global Methodist. She rarely missed a Sunday.
