Amongst the most wonderful memories I retain from my childhood were those of when my cousins (Paul, Bill and Barry) came to visit with my brother (Logan) and I in eastern Kentucky. The five of us always got into various shenanigans, but no one got hurt, or at least not seriously. I still can’t believe that our parents let all of us (sorry Barry) go to Hawaii by ourselves when we were in High School. We had a wonderful time and made memories that are still fresh in my mind. We all grew up and had families, but we still kept in touch. I had a short but really great phone conversation with Paul three or four weeks ago. We basically talked all about UK sports (a subject that he was quite proficient in). He was in great spirits that day, and one wouldn’t have realized all the pain he was in. That pain is no more, and he now can once again talk to Logie about all those shenanigans. Rest well, dear Cousin.
