Paul L. Isaacs' Obituary
ISAACS, Paul Leland, age 67, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Paul graduated from Xenia High School, Class of 1975, where he earned his varsity letter in football. He later studied at Otterbein College and Wright State University. He went on to build a career as an industrial plumber for General Motors/Delco Products/Delphi, where he worked for nearly 30 years. Paul was a member of Masonic Lodge 753 in Beavercreek and Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton.
A devoted family man, Paul’s family was the center of his world. He was always there for his children, chauffeuring them to school, volunteering for school activities, and attending every significant event in their lives. He looked forward to family vacations, both for leisure and education. He made many memorable visits to Hocking Hills and Sarasota, Florida, where the family enjoyed beautiful scenery, delicious meals, and relaxation with those he loved most. He was also especially fond of their adventure out west to Yellowstone, where he and his family visited all the major landmarks and made lasting memories at every stop.
Paul was extremely proud of his home, which he and his father built together. He took great pride in maintaining the property, which consumed much of his free time. Paul was an avid sports fan, rooting on the UK Wildcats during basketball season and the OSU Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals in the fall. Among many things, Paul will be remembered for his love of bluegrass music, his extensive collection of ball caps, and above all, his love for his family.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul D. Isaacs; and a nephew, Jackson Paul. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Wende (nee Gates) Isaacs; two children, Brandon Paul Isaacs (Alison) and Brianna Leigh Isaacs; his mother, Doris (nee Fields) Isaacs; two brothers, William (Susan) Isaacs and Barry (Debbie) Isaacs; three nieces, Becky, Kimberly and Heather; two nephews, A.J. and Josh; and grand-nieces, Angelina, Scarlet and Maya-June.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Bethel Community Church in Xenia, Ohio. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 12:00 PM at the church. Pastor Craig Wright will be officiating. Burial will be at Bellbrook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation. Condolences at www.connerandkoch.com.
