Please accept my deepest condolences. I just learned of his passing today. I remember having him for history in both 7th and 8th grades. However, he once took myself and a couple of other students to the Dayton Inventors Club to hear a speech. We were getting a little antsy, but he explained how much we could gain listening to the learned speaker, and it seemed a lot more interesting after his explanation. We stopped for dinner on the way home, and he bought it for us. He would probably laugh if told him I studied history at Ohio State! He was a great teacher... and friend. May he Rest In Peace...
