Dick Jackson was a wonderful person who always knew me by name when I was at Home Depot or the funeral home....sweet and kind and such a family man. He will be missed.

Dick, you will be missed. There was not a day that went by that I did not think of you and Joann. You had a good life. Joann, to you, your strength will help you through this sorrowful time. On a light note, I still remember you two trying to sleep in the waterbed.
I had the privilege of knowing Richard in recent years. He was a prince among men and a genuine gentleman. He was funny, kind and endearing. I know he will be missed by many. Richard always had an uncanny knack of knowing what was going on with me even when others did not notice. And he would always let me know things would be okay. I always appreciated that. Richard, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I know you will be smiling down on us from heaven.
