Thomas Spencer Cross' Obituary
CROSS, Thomas, age 28, of Xenia, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025.
Thomas was currently a student at Wright State University. Very intelligent and inquisitive, Thomas enjoyed learning everything he could about his interests. Thomas had a love of learning and also loved to teach and guide others through new experiences. He was especially kind, outgoing, and generous, going above and beyond to help others in need. Thomas was naturally driven to make others happy in whatever way he could.
Thomas had a passion for video games, especially Dungeons and Dragons. He took pride in his contribution to the video game world, having written codex entries for Mass Effect: Andromeda. Whether it was a casual game night or an intense Mario Kart competition with family, Thomas was in his element when playing and connecting with others through games.
Gentle and caring, Thomas treasured time with his family. He adored his wife, Caroline, as well as the pets he was able to rescue over the years. His dogs Jester and Ember, as well as cats Kitty and Tabris, were very special to him. Cuddling up with the dogs on the couch was one of his favorite ways to unwind at the end of the day.
Among many things, Thomas will be remembered for his deep appreciation for The Lord of the Rings, his love for the calming scent of lavender, and his peaceful walks through Sugarcreek Metro Park. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of five years, Caroline Tyson; his parents, Andres and Tina Cross; one brother, Zach Cross; one sister, Diane Cross; and one half-sister, Chenoa.
